For those who don’t know, Arkells is a Canadian rock band formed in Hamilton back in 2006. They’ve since released six albums, two EPs, and a number of singles that have charted in Canada – so get ready for high energy, great music, and a wild time this Tuesday, October 25th.

CUPW Halloween & Diwali Celebration

Last but not least, we have a Diwali x Halloween celebration to share for double the fun! All CUPW members and non-members are invited to the Fraserview Banquet Hall on Friday, October 28th for a buffet-style meal, door prize entry, and an exciting silent auction to raise funds for the Family Services Of Greater Vancouver.

Coming to Celebrities Nightclub on the Friday before Halloween is none other than SNAKEHIPS, the British electronic music duo known for their remixes for Banks, The Weeknd, Bondax, and Wild Belle – as well as their 2015 hit single, “All My Friends.”

DTES Heart of the City Festival

The 19th annual Heart of the City Festival is coming to the DTES on October 26th, and this year’s theme of “Community Is Our Mentor” will spotlight the lived experiences and identities of the DTES community. Highlighted events include the launch of a new mural, a series of dialogues and short films on housing justice, and The Prop Master’s Dream, a new fusion opera produced by the Vancouver Cantonese Opera.

When: October 26th to November 6th

Tacofino Brewery Series

With five delicious courses plus accompanying beer and cocktail pairings, the return of Tacofino’s beloved Brewery Series is sure to be a tasty one. Originally held at Tacofino’s Hastings location, the Brewery Dinner Series will now take place at Tacofino Ocho and include live entertainment. The series will kick off on Thursday, October 27th and run every last Thursday of the month (excluding December) at 7 pm.
