These Toronto restaurants recognized in the Michelin Guide are participating in Winterlicious

Winterlicious is almost here which means Torontonians will have a chance to dine at some of the best restaurants in the city and try out three-course prix fixe meals at a set price!

The Michelin Guide describes Bib Gourmand restaurants as offering “a simpler style of cooking, which is recognizable, easy-to-eat, and offers something you feel you could attempt to replicate at home”.

R&D

R&D offers guests delicious Canadian-Asian cuisine and you can try it for yourself during Winterlicious this year! R&D earned its Bib Gourmand Award with The Michelin Guide describing the spot as an” assortment of decidedly untraditional dim sum serves as a prime example, drawing upon a grab bag of international flavours.”

Indian Street Food Co

This Indian restaurant located in Midtown has a Bib Gourmand Award for good reason. Indian Street Food Co delivers a tight menu of street food favourites and regional curries from various corners of India. Dine here during Winterlicious and try the $34 lunch menu or the $45 dinner menu.

Lapinou

Lapinou was added as a recommended restaurant in the 2023 Michelin Guide and is described as “a fresh spin on classic bistro fare.” Their $65 Winterlicious dinner menu gives guests the choice of Ricotta Gnocchi, Grilled Chicken, Gunpowder Grilled Salmon and Short Rib Wellington just to name a few!

Sara

This restaurant is recognized as a 2023 Michelin Guide recommended restaurant serving up everything from Wagyu Reubens to Blackened Bass on their $75 per guest Winterlicious dinner menu.

PAI

Also recommended in the 2023 Michelin Guide is Pai. Pai is known for its North Thai plates and is even one of actor Simu Liu’s favourite restaurants! Their Winterlicious menu is available at their Uptown location with a $34 lunch menu and $45 dinner menu available!
