Hey, Toronto, what’s up?! Your group chat is popping off, and we’re here to keep the good times going. Welcome to another week of the Toronto Group Chat. This is your weekly rundown of the city’s biggest and hottest updates. Here, you’ll find all the stuff you actually want to share in your group chat. Every week, we’re dishing out five must-know highlights of what’s going on in the city or stories you need to know about.
Maybe people are already talking about it, or maybe you’ll start the conversation.
Check out what’s new in Toronto. Let’s get into it.
The wait is over! We now have a date for Hello Nori’s Yorkville opening. The long-awaited opening at 1250 Bay St. will mark the brand’s third Toronto location.
If you’ve ever had the chance to enjoy bites from Hello Nori, then you understand how truly special this place is.
It features ingredients sourced from Canada and Japan, with a sculptural wood ceiling and warm, West Coast-inspired interiors. You’ll love it.
The new location opens Nov. 6, 2026.
If you’re a sucker for winter experiences, you’ll love to know that the third-annual Winter Market at St. Lawrence Market will return this November.
From Nov. 19 to Dec. 22, a stretch outside of St. Lawrence Market will host the open-air winter market, featuring local vendors and festive entertainment.
The market will operate Thursdays through Sundays, and extra dates on Monday, Dec. 21, and Tuesday, Dec. 22. Lots to do and lots to enjoy — don’t miss out.
The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto is bringing back its European-inspired holiday market to EPOCH Bar & Kitchen Terrace, transforming the space for the season with charm and tradition.
From Nov. 5 to Dec. 30, visitors are welcome to explore the holiday market through its holiday retail vendors and artisans, festive food, confectionery offerings, seasonal beverages, and specialty treats.
This is the perfect chance to browse for thoughtful gifts surrounded by seasonal décor, all within a warm and inviting setting.
Oh, and to enjoy festive cocktails, of course.
Yes, way. Despite the cold shot, Toronto’s in for a day of warmth this week — sort of.
On Thursday, temperatures are expected to hit a high of 21°C; however, it’s expected to rain. Bittersweet? You could say so. Regardless, it’ll be slightly warmer this week, just before Halloween.
I’m in my wellness era, so knowing that Toronto is getting a new space dedicated entirely to bettering yourself, I’m all for it. Wellness Republic is the city’s newest third space, set to open on Nov. 2.
It will be located inside a 1918 heritage building at 488 Wellington St. W., offering Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, yoga, and red light and infrared-heated classes. Additional services include contrast therapy and IV wellness.
There’s also a café and co-working lounge for members who want to spend the day at the space. In other words, I’ll be spending my time here religiously.
