One of Toronto’s most beloved food festivals is back! Winterlicious, running from January 26th – February 8th, is an annual event where participating restaurants set a three-course prix fixe menu. Over 200 restaurants are in for this year’s event and picking where to go can get overwhelming and expensive…so how does a $25 meal sound?

Bukhara Grill

Bukhara Grill, located in South Etobicoke, serves up authentic Indian cuisine and the menu for Winterlicious does not disappoint. Choose from Onion Bhaji, Aloo Ki Tikki, Chicken Pakora, Vegetable Pakora or Vegetable Samosas – and that’s just for your appetizer! The full dinner menu can be found here. Bar Bacan

Head to Roncesvalles to check out Bar Bacan’s $25 Winterlicious dinner menu. This female-led, LGBTQ+ friendly family-run restaurant serves dishes made from scratch infusing authentic Argentinian and Venezuelan flavours. Some of the main dish options in this 3-course meal include Bacan Criollo with Mechada, Bacan Criollo Costeña and their Veggie Bacan Criollo.

Her Chef

Her Chef is the perfect spot to stop this Winterlicious for Asian Fusion. This restaurant’s $25 dinner menu lists main dish options like Korean BBQ and Sogogi which is sous vide AAA top sirloin steak with crispy garlic chips, green onion, pickled onion, signature Korean kalbi sauce and rice. Sounds like a winner to us.

Kothur Indian Cuisine

Another spot for delicious Indian food this Winterlicious! Kothur Indian Cuisine’s 3-course dinner menu won’t disappoint, offering classic dishes such as Chicken Tikka and Tandoori Chicken. If you’re feeling adventurous for dessert, try their Mango and Ginger Ice Cream – yum!

Tokyo Grill

Tokyo Grill is bringing Japanese Homestyle Cooking to Winterlicious. This North York restaurant’s $25 dinner menu has a long list of bentos you can pick from such as Oyster Fry, Shrimp Fry, Chicken Katsu, Beef Teriyaki and more!

BB.Q Chicken Danforth
