A permanent Japadog outpost has opened at YVR Airport

Whether it’s the first thing you want to eat when you return to the city, or the last snack before your next flight, this is a very fun addition to the airport. Recently, Vancouver’s beloved spot for hot dogs, Japadog, opened a new outpost in the YVR Airport. Here’s a quick rundown.

While Japadog previously had a food stand outside of International arrivals, this permanent spot makes it even more convenient to get a dog on the go. Located on the 3rd level of the Domestic terminal, and before security, the outpost will offer all the tasty treats we’ve come to know (and love) over the years.

Over three years in the making, the new location soft opened last week, but will still be open daily to feed hungry travellers. But, even more importantly, they’ve teased that for their ‘official’ opening (which should happen this week or next), they’ll be giving out 300 free hot dogs for the first guests to show up.

Hmmm, that’s almost a good enough reason to hop on the SkyTrain and take a quick trip to Richmond, don’t you think?
