Ah, another weekend come and gone… But we so much stuff to do around Vancouver, we’re not too upset about its passing. Instead, we’re looking ahead for all the great options for these next few days, from sports to concerts to some food and drink options!
Here are the 10 best things to do in Vancouver this week.
The Canucks have got two home games this week! They face off against the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday, then the Washington Capitals Friday. Our prediction? Back to back, and resounding, victories.

Not to minimize her talent, but we’re more than happy to compare Sierra Ferrell to Orville Peck. A decidedly old school approach to the country genre is a much-needed breath of fresh air from the pop-country schtick. Pair that with great style and some serious pipes, and you’ll feel like you’re in a 50s honky-tonk.

A little bit of LA synthpop? Absolutely! Cannons has been around since 2013, offering up music that is perfect for a road trip or a day spent lounging by the pool. So, their Vancouver concert is, in our eyes, a fantastic way to kick off the spring!

If you’re looking for something local, this is a great option. The live event at the Rio Theatre will see comedians and entrepreneurs alike pitch their ideas to a fake panel of venture capitalists. We know enough tech bros in the city that this could be amazingly accurate.

For something a little more serious, the Polygon Gallery opens a new major exhibit this week, showing photos focused on clouds from the ‘Archive of Modern Conflict’. Fitting.

We’re pretty big Pixar fans here at Curiocity, and we don’t care who knows it. So, the release of Turning Red, which just so happens to be set in Toronto in the early 2000s, is something we’re absolutely recommending you check out this week.

The Skate Plaza has extended its season, and will now be open until the end of March! If you haven’t already checked it out, this could be a great week to do so.

This long-running festival is currently on in the city! This week, you can check out a variety of performances, whether online or something that’s actually happening in person. It’s a great option for those looking for a little ~culture~.

Live theatre is back in Vancouver, and one of the best ways to experience it is at the Arts Club. They’re showing some fun stuff both in-person and online, but we’re focused on a live-action version of Kim’s Convenience.
