Check out these two world-renowned exhibits in TO
Fix your moustache and straighten your beret. There’s more world-class art en route to Toronto, this time from Anthony Ricciardi. Please read his name in a fancy accent in your head for maximum effect.
Ricciardi’s a definite name in the world of contemporary art. Additionally, fun fact: he played Div 1 NCAA baseball. Man of many talents. He’s popping by with two new exhibits, set to open in mid-April.
Firstly, we have DREAM SPACE, and judging from the shouty capitals it’s got some serious impact. Here are some fun art words for ya: It’s a multidisciplinary, interactive, experiential installation. AKA you can interact with it.
Secondly, we’ve got Hidden Treasures. Both are meant to inspire guests to pursue their dreams and follow their creativity.
As Riccardi puts it, “These two shows will evoke distinctly different experiences. My sincere hope is that everyone will find something that speaks to them and will ultimately stoke a fire within to explore their own aspirations.”
If cool art isn’t enough, the man loves Toronto. “I’ve always experienced the best reactions and felt a vibrant energy from guests at my Toronto shows.” We’re flattered :’) Oh, it might be because he’s a Toronto native himself. Hometown talent!
Check out DREAM SPACE at the Yorkdale Mall starting April 12. Additionally, Hidden Treasures will open at The Gallery at MINDSET (more shouty capitals) on April 18.
When: Opening Friday, April 12 & Thursday, April 18, respectively
Where: Yorkdale Mall, 3401 Dufferin St & The Gallery at MINDSET, 62 Cumberland St
