Hello folks, how’s the week been? Are you ready for our list of the things to do in Seattle this weekend? We sure are, for some reason, we’re extra excited to get out and about. Maybe we’re just trying to ignore the changing seasons by keeping busy.

Here are 8 things to do in Seattle this weekend.

Maxo Kream

A Texan with a colorful past, Maxo Kream has solidified himself as a rapper’s rapper. He’s worked with the likes of Schoolboy Q and Lil Uzi Vert, but most of our friends haven’t heard of him. Don’t be like our friends.

When: Friday, November 8
Where: Chop Suey
Tickets: $20

America’s Test Kitchen: 20th Anniversary

America’s Test Kitchen has been a staple in the food world for two decades now. Celebrate with the hosts and cast at this event featuring some of Seattle’s best chefs and bartenders.

When: Friday, November 8
Where: Block 41
Tickets: $125

Jason Mraz

This Grammy-winning artist needs no introduction or hype. Just know that his permanently optimistic sound hasn’t changed since the days of “I’m Yours”.

When: Saturday, November 9
Where: Paramount Theater
Tickets: $45

Northwest Chocolate Festival

Artisanal chocolate producers from around the world will be at this event. Looking for great truffles? How about the best cooking chocolates for your next batch of cookies? All this and more can be found in one jampacked night.

When: Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10
Where: Pier 91
Tickets: $25

Moonchild

A nice and relaxed R&B(ish) band that will help you deal with the changing weather. Their fourth album, Little Ghost, blends together everything they’ve learned since starting up in 2012.

When: Saturday, November 9
Where: Neumos
Tickets: $23

Short Run Comix and Art Fest

Now in its 9th year, Short Run continues to be one of Seattle’s best comic festivals. Both local and internationally recognized artists will be showing their works, plus documentaries, films, and other experiential offerings.

When: Saturday, November 9
Where: Fisher Pavilion at the Seattle Center
Tickets: Free!

Young Thug & Machine Gun Kelly

The martian has landed. If we need to sell one of the most influential rappers of a generation to you, then we don’t know what to do. Listen to Barter 6 before anything, we guess?

When: Sunday, November 10
Where: WAMU Theater
Tickets: $32

Jaymes Young

A Seattle native! And the guy behind ‘Habits of my heart’, which took over the airways way back in 2014. Nostalgia factor and a local act? That’s a win-win.

When: Sunday, November 10
Where: Neumos
Tickets: $20

And that’s it! Our favorite things to do in Seattle this weekend. We’ve been counting the days for the Young Thug concert for a few months now, so we’ll see you over there.
