Home of the Week: An incredible penthouse beside Pike Place
Happy Monday, Seattle! You know what Monday is? It’s Home of the Week day! Basically, each week we’re going to showcase the best homes that Seattle and the surrounding areas have to offer. It could be a waterfront mansion, a quirky starter apartment, or a houseboat! We make the rules here!
Let’s get started, shall we?
Seattle Home of the Week: 2033 1st Ave 3
If you can’t tell by the pictures, we’re starting hot. This two-level residence is one of only 7 available in Market Place Tower, and it’s a doozy. Let’s check it out in closer detail.
First off, there are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms spread out over 4500+ square feet of space. So, it’s basically a full-sized suburban home, just 20 stories up. We wonder if the ‘reconfiguration’ options include a dog run? Might as well get Fido up here, too.
Currently, the interior design reflects an interest in Asian arts. It’s pretty dang serene, we have to admit. But if it were up to us, we’d go full contemporary art museum mode. Repaint the walls pure white, throw some Georgia O’Keeffe or some Kusama up there? Now we’re talking!
Not our home, though. We also suck at interior design.
Finally, there are the views. Half the apartment looks over the Space Needle, you can see the Great Wheel from your patio, and Puget Sound is chilling right there. It’s practically the Holy Trinity of Seattle stuff to see. Well, not counting the Fremont Troll.
And it ain’t cheap if you want the 3-in-1 deal. Oh well, we can dream.
If you’ve got an extra $10M kicking around, you can check out our Seattle Home of the Week right here.
