Don’t miss this newly discovered comet flying over Seattle tonight!
Well, 2020 sure has been a crazy year. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any weirder, we’ve been proven wrong. But 2020 isn’t over yet. And there are probably a few more surprises coming our way. Including a comet that NASA has recently discovered.
Comet C/2020 F3 otherwise known as Neowise will be flying over Seattle tonight. This comet has been hanging around Earth since March. And it looks like it’ll be flying around our planet for a while. So we recommend watching for Neowise if you can. Because we won’t see it for another 6,000 years.
Since it’s going to be another 6,000 years before comet Neowise revisits the inner solar system, we thought it would be a good idea to grab some photos this morning when the skies advantageously cleared to our northeast. #wawx pic.twitter.com/F0bxompWEX

And that means this July is your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Neowise. Although you will have to stay up pretty late to see it. We’re talking between 3:15 and 4:15 am. But it’s worth it, right? After all, when is the next time you’ll see a comet? Not for a while folks.
Anyway, we’re pretty pumped about NASA’s new discovery and we hope you are too. If you plan on watching Neowise, make sure to look northeast. And if you want to learn more, you can click here. We hope to see you guys out there tonight!
