Whether you want to take a day trip or see the sound up close and personal, taking a ferry is an amazing experience. You and your SO can walk, bike, or drive on and enjoy the upper decks or sit inside and take in the views from the seating area. Plus, you can always zip over to an accessible island like Bainbridge for a little hike or meal.

Hike to see the changing leaves

Hiking is a classic PNW date and another one you can almost never go wrong with. Unless of course, your date hates hiking in which case we’re confused as to why they live in the PNW. Anyway, we have a whole list of scenic hikes that you can check out for all skill levels.

Get seriously spooked

What’s a more appropriate fall date than getting a little spooked? Get truly boo’ed up at one of the many haunted events happening this October. You can head to Stalker Farms for a terrifying corn maze or over to Seattle’s very own Georgetown Morgue to see if you survive the night.

Ride a scenic train

When was the last time you rode a train? Chances are that it’s been a while. So why not treat yourself and a date to a seasonal train ride on a local railroad? Plus, this one is decorated for Halloween!
