Can’t wait for Halloween? How about getting ready for the spookiest time of year with a perfectly PNW activity? We’re talking about The Northwest Railway Museum Halloween Train. Experience our region’s railroad history and enjoy a fall-decorated ride.

The Northwest Railway Museum Halloween Train is a two-hour excursion. Guests will be whisked away on historic passenger cars for a journey west to the top of Snoqualmie Falls. It’s the perfect way to take in the changing colors as you ride through the scenic upper Snoqualmie Valley.

During your ride, the train will pause at the crest for a view of the lower river valley. The train will then return east to the Railway History Center where you can enjoy a 30-minute stopover. Here you can partake in “seasonal activities” and visit the Train Shed Exhibit Hall.

Afterward, you’ll get to hop back aboard and travel east to the North Bend Depot. Costumes are encouraged for people of all ages and all children who arrive in costume will receive a small prize.

Happy riding!
