Toronto’s newest Chick-fil-A on Queen West opens today

At long last, the newest Toronto Chick-fil-A is opening its doors on Queen St West. The restaurant will be fully operational as of this Friday, February 11th at 10:30 a.m. for limited dine-in and takeout.

This location is the sixth Chick-fil-A restaurant in Canada and the second one in downtown Toronto. The chain anticipates the opening day to be a busy one, so if you’re eager to get through the doors, be prepared for some potential lineups.

It looks like Chick-fil-A  is on a mission to staff up its new restaurant ahead of the grand opening. A job posting for Front of House staff at the new location is still online.

Among the perks for Chick-fil-A employees is a free meal every shift, a healthcare savings account, life insurance, competitive pay, and more. Most importantly, though, all staff get Sundays off, which means that the restaurants are only open from Monday to Saturday.

Last month, the chain confirmed to Curiocity that its Canadian restaurants were experiencing intermittent challenges with some of their menu items, causing potential shortages of certain menu items.

A notice is still posted on Chick-fil-A’s website saying that some items may not be available at Canadian locations because of supply chain issues.

You can find the newest location at 336 Queen St West, right at the corner of Spadina Avenue.

Before you know it, you’ll likely have a Chick-fil-A right in your neighbourhood. The chain plans to open 20 more locations all over the country by 2025.
