Popular Colombian coffee brand Juan Valdez is now available in Canada

International Colombian coffee brand Juan Valdez has announced that it’s now in Canada, bringing its popular brands to retailers across the country.

With over 20 years of business spanning five continents, the popular Colombian coffee brand now has its eyes set on Canadians. It has introduced its ground and whole-bean coffees to Canada for the first time as part of its North American expansion strategy.

“Canada is a market we are very excited to grow in, starting with what defines us: our origin. We are bringing a proposition centred on the quality, identity, and richness of Colombian coffee, while sharing that story with new consumers,” said Sebastián Mejía, general manager of North America for Juan Valdez, in a press release.

According to the brand, it will be expanding through the retail channel. This means you’ll be able to find select ground coffee and whole bean coffee roasts at grocers such as Maxi and No Frills (Loblaw Companies), Adonis (Metro), select independent grocers, Amazon, and participating retailer e-commerce platforms.

“Our ambition goes beyond entering the retail market; we want to build a strong presence, grow alongside the Canadian market and make Juan Valdez a familiar choice for people who appreciate and value great coffee,” Mejía affirmed.

This initial rollout will reach more than 400 retailers and will only continue to expand further.

As for the products available, customers can choose from Medium Roast Ground Coffee, Dark Roast Ground Coffee, and Espresso Whole Bean Coffee. The business plans to expand to include single-serve coffee pods in Medium and Dark Roast. If you’re looking for a new brew, look no further.

This exciting new chapter is huge for coffee lovers, so you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out for more Juan Valdez products on the way. Who knows, maybe these beans will be the start of your next perfect brew.
