If you’ve ever driven past the Chick-fil-A on Bloor Street in recent months, you’ve seen the lineup out the door pretty much every day of the week. It’s no secret that this restaurant chain is one of the city’s most popular (despite being controversial). So when we heard the news that two new locations are on their way, we knew you’d be pretty pumped about it.

Chick-fil-A just put out an official press release detailing the exciting expansion. The new Toronto locations will be at Scarborough Town Centre and at Queen & Spadina. On top of that, a third will be heading to the nearby city Kitchener, Ontario. The new restos are set to open later this year.

Along with the over 200 full and part-time jobs the new locations are creating, they’re also running a stellar initiative. For every new restaurant, Chick-fil-A plans to donate $25,000 to a local food bank nearby. They’re also running their Shared Table program to help alleviate hunger and reduce food waste. Not too shabby!

So these new spots are scheduled to open within the year. But on top of all that, the company is aiming to bring an additional 20 locations across Canada by 2025. Looks like we’ve got a whole lot of fried chicken in our future!
