Well, hey there, friends! Happy Sunday! We honestly believe that there’s only one thing better than a fun-filled weekend, and that’s a fun-filled week. Which, if you play your cards right, is definitely in the cards this time around! Not sure where to go or what’s happening in and around YYC? We’ve got you! Here are 10 things to do this week in Calgary!

HAVE A PICNIC BY THE RIVER

The sun is out and the heat is almost unbearable. That can only mean one thing! It’s time to hit the water, friends! Whether you’re the picnic-packing type, are looking for somewhere new to take a walk or have just forgotten how many incredible spots there are for an in-city summer toe dip, check out the link above for the best spots to hang out near the river in Calgary.

FLOAT THE BOW

Speaking of the river – for those of you who feel like a toe-dip just isn’t enough, why rent a dingy!  Grab your pals, a paddle and some snacks then hit either of Calgary’s winding rivers. Kick back and enjoy the warmth on your face and the water on your toes on an obligatory YYC adventure.

HIT THE SWIMCO POP-UP

Don’t have a bathing suit? Don’t fret! Because lucky for you, Swimco actually just opened a brand new pop-up shop in Willow Park Village so you don’t have to miss out on absolutely anything this summer! From now until June 30th, check it out and get a brand new fit for up to 70%

CHECK OUT ONE OF CALGARY’S PET-FRIENDLY PATIOS

Feel bad for leaving your pooch onshore? This week, make it up to ’em! Calgary is spoiled for choice when it comes to pet-free patios, so really, it’s just a matter of where and when! Check the link above for some of our favourite dog-friendly restaurants in YYC.
