Just when we thought Toronto’s art scene couldn’t get any better! The world premier of a whole new immersive experience is officially on its way. Beyond Monet just announced their opening date for the summer along with some exciting new details about the upcoming exhibit.

Beyond Monet will open in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Thursday, August 12th. Spanning over 50,000 square feet, the exhibit will be the largest immersive experience in the country. The display will be brought to life with a whopping 100 million pixels, surrounding guests with an unprecedented 360 degree cinematic experience.

Over 400 of Monet’s stunning works will be animated and brought to life. You can expect to immerse yourself in famous paintings like the Water Lilies series, Impression: Sunrise and Poppies. Plus, a few lesser known works.

The entire experience will be spaced out for social distancing and will be run on a timed ticket system. So, COVID-19 safety is a top priority.

Tickets officially go on sale today! Just hop online to nab yours. Prices start at $39.99 for adults and $29.99 for children. For every ticket sold, one dollar will be donated to the Black, Indigenous and People of Colour Fellowship, a program aimed at magnifying the creative vision and voices of the BIPOC community.
