Looking for something to do this weekend? Well, we’re going to suggest checking out the brand new Chinese Canadian Museum temporary space in Chinatown. The first of its kind in Canada, this museum sheds light on experiences both past and present for Chinese Canadians.

And things are looking interesting already. The first exhibition is called ‘A Seat at the Table’. And fittingly, it’s a showcase of how Chinese immigration was impacted by Chinese food and restaurant culture.

And finally, a larger exhibition of A Seat at the Table will be coming to the Museum of Vancouver later this year. So you could even treat this as a fun little VIP sneak peek. That’s how we’re approaching it.
