GoodLife Fitness releases guidelines for reopening gyms across Canada
Earlier today, the national chain GoodLife Fitness announced that they would be reopening gyms across Canada using the ‘GoodLife Standard’. That’s basically just a new set of guidelines for each gym to follow when they do reopen, but it’s interesting to see how a national chain is going about the situation.
So, here’s how they’re going to do it. First off, they’re ramping sanitation way up, and that includes buying medical-grade disinfectants and devices for each and every club out there. Of course, the standard measures like plexiglass and increased cleaning schedules are also on there.
1/3 We are committed to reopening a safe & caring space for everyone in Canada to work out while meeting public health guidelines. The GoodLife Standard will help guide the reopening of our Clubs & ensure the safety & health of our Members & Associates going forward. pic.twitter.com/nG0khIwgF7

Those wanting to get a workout in are encouraged to book in advance as capacity will be limited. Once there, guests will have one-hour-long timeslots for their workout. Walk-ins will only be admitted if space is available, so heads up there.
As for the amenities, you’ll have access to the general workout area, the group fitness studio, and the cycling studio. Personal training is still a go, and so is group fitness, but under stricter health measures. GoodLife’s nationwide will start reopening on June 15th in PEI, with BC and New Brunswick coming in around June 22nd.
