Don’t feel like cooking? Get Christmas dinner at these Toronto restaurants

Via Evening Standard

Honestly, cooking Christmas dinner sounds like our personal hell. We’d consider having Christmas dinner at a nice Toronto restaurant over burning the potatoes, accidentally drop-kicking the turkey, and trying to salvage an inedible pie. Just us?

If you’re thinking that letting the pros cook for you might make for a better Christmas, hit up these restaurants for a delicious Christmas dinner- no effort required on your part!

TOULÀ

Toulà is serving up a three-course menu with features including butternut squash ravioli, Cornish hen, and Italian favourites. Also, dat view.

When: Tuesday, December 24- Thursday, December 26
Where: 1 Harbour Sq
Cost: $59

OLD MILL

Old Mill is doing the most so you can do the least. Not only can you have Christmas lunch and dinner, but you can come by for a lovely nutcracker afternoon tea any Wednesday-Saturday throughout the month. Then, celebrate Ukranian Christmas with a special buffet.

CAFÉ BOULOUD

If an upscale Christmas dinner is your style, dive into foie gras tartine with roasted chestnut, pickled currant, and duck confit à orange. Did we sound French there? There are also classics like sweet potato puree and cranberry sauce, of course!

Where: 60 Yorkville Ave

AUBERGE DU POMMIER

We’re not making roasted chestnut soup with port wine reduction ourselves, that’s for sure. We’ll let the chefs handle that one.

When: December 15, 22, and 24
Where: 4150 Yonge St
Cost: $75

12 TABLES

All we want for Christmas is a five-course meal and pan-seared filet mignon. Oh, seems we’re in the right place!
