More eats? Yes, please! Global Italian marketplace and retail hub, Eataly has announced the opening of its third store in Toronto this May. Here’s what to know.

Following the recent opening of its Eataly Sherway Gardens location just last year, Eataly will welcome fans and new eager customers to its latest spot at CF Shops at Don Mills on May 30th at 1 PM.

This is the second city in North America, besides New York, to have three Eataly locations.

“Toronto has embraced us from the very beginning, and with the opening of two stores in less than a year, we are committed to serving new audiences here and providing a taste of the authentic Italian lifestyle,” said Tommaso Brusò, CEO of Eataly North America.

“As the first introduction of Eataly to Toronto’s North York area, we are looking forward to welcoming guests to Eataly Shops at Don Mills very soon.”

The new location spans almost 10,000 square feet and will have one restaurant, its beloved retail store, and several quick-service counters.

Here’s what to expect:

New restaurant

Expect both indoor and patio seating for guests – up to 180 seats! The menu will include traditional pasta dishes like Tagliatelle alla Bolognese and Rigatoni all’Amatriciana, authentic Pizza Napoletana, and mains from premium seafood to Bistecca alla Fiorentina.

Its wine list will have more than 85 selections of Italian wine from northern and southern regions, including seasonal cocktails and non-alcoholic options.

Eataly Marketplace

Just like its other locations, expect that Made in Italy stamp of approval with its retail offerings. The Eataly marketplace will sell everyday staples from the motherland – from extra virgin olive oils to a diversity of pre-cut salumi and formaggi, according to the retailer.

Along with its hundreds of imported Italian goods, expect Eataly’s housemade line and items from local producers in Canada.

Quick-service counters

La Pasticceria will offer cakes, croissants, and more baked goods made fresh daily; Il Gran Caffè is an all-day coffee bar; Pizza alla Pala will have a variety of Roman-style pizza; La Salumeria is a counter dedicated to Foccacia Farcita and panini.
