This highly-anticipated flick is premiering at the festival on Monday. Who doesn’t love a little Matt Damon on their screen? You can catch the Hollywood hottie in his latest project premiering at TIFF tonight. Good Joe Bell was written by the same creative minds behind Oscar-winning Brokeback Mountain. It tells the story of a father who walks across the U.S. to raise awareness for bullying. We’ve got a feeling this one’ll pull on the heartstrings.

Did you know TIFF does documentaries? Now you do. This amazing doc will tell you the behind-the-scenes story of human rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. and his relationship with the FBI. More specifically, how the FBI harassed and surveilled him for years. The film exposes recently declassified documents in a chilling tell-all of the events of the time.

If you want to learn more about directing, this is the “In Conversation With” for you. Tune in to hear two legends, Barry Levinson and Denzel Washington, as they discuss their experiences as directors (and their many other roles) through the years. Both have impressive resumes including flicks like Diner (1982), Good Morning, Vietnam (1987), Rain Man(1988), Bugsy (1991), and Wag the Dog (1997) from Levinson. As well as Malcolm X (1992), Devil in the Blue Dress (1995), Training Day(2001), and American Gangster (2007) from Washington. So they’ll definitely have lots to discuss!
