We’re already halfway through the month of February and with only one more full weekend of the month left, it’s time to live it up. From eats, to art, the outdoors and more, you’ll have no problem staying busy. Here are 10 of the best things to do in & around Seattle this weekend.

Field to Table

Field to Table takes place throughout February with a new menu every single day. Some of the featured chefs include Mel Miranda of Musang, Kristi Brown of Communion, and Maximillian Petty of Eden Hill. Menu items’ ingredients are diverse, ranging from foraged mushrooms to wagyu beef to heirloom citrus.

Take in the last days of winter

We know that most of you are probably very ready for winter to be over. The good news is that winter ends in just a bit over a month. Caribou

Dan Snaith aka Caribou returns to Seattle with his new studio album Suddenly. You’ll be able to see him and opener Ela Minus perform at the Showbox SoDo. Expect a night of warm tunes examining what matters most in life.

Visit a frozen waterfall

Spring is just a month away so it’s prime time to enjoy the winter hiking in Washington. One of the coolest natural wonders you can see this time of year is frozen waterfalls. The Mystery of Irma Vep

Want to watch a movie? Try switching things up with some live theatre instead. Intiman Theatre is putting on The Mystery of Irma Vep, a Penny Dreadful-style sci-fi frolic with plenty of camp comedy. Don’t miss out folks!

HOCKEY: Faster Than Ever

During this exhibit, guests will be able to explore the “Hockey Science Lab,” where you can test your hockey knowledge through hands-on interactive activities on a scaled-down replica rink and test things like reaction time, speed, balance, coordination, and power all of which are crucial to the game of hockey. Additionally, you can explore a hockey locker room full of the game’s biggest stars.

Cirque du Soleil: Alegria

Cirque du Soleil’s captivating magic is returning to Redmond’s Marymoor Park. The traveling circus’ newest performance is a classic Cirque du Soleil show reimagined for a new generation with intricate costumes and an array of sounds and genres. It’s a must-see experience for those of you who have missed live performances.

Lauren Halsey: 2021 Knight

Lauren Halsey’s show is the Seattle Art Museums’ next upcoming exhibition. Her work “spans sculpture, installation, and architecture, including site-specific projects, particularly in the South Central neighborhood of Los Angeles.” Further, “her work maintains a sense of civic urgency and free-flowing imagination, reflecting the lives of the people and places around her and addressing the crucial issues confronting people of color, queer populations, and the working class.”
