If you’re all about local breweries then you’ll be delighted to know that Seattle actually has two relatively new breweries. Ladd & Lass Brewing and Wheelie Pop Brewing are newcomers who are not be ignored. Let’s check them out.

Ladd & Lass Brewing opened its first permanent location in the U District in October of 2021. It’s run and owned by husband and wife duo Nick Ladd & Jessie Quan, whose roots are deep in homebrewing and the homebrewing community. The taproom is both family friendly and dog-friendly, but only offers indoor seating.

Wheelie Pop Brewing opened in Ballard in late December 2021. It’s run and owned by two friends Jeremy and Mark. The duo have a shared love of motorcycles, racing, and beer and naturally had to try making their own. It’s also worth noting that Wheelie Pop is both dog and kid-friendly and you can snag food from the Trail Bend Taproom, which is located next door.
