8 of the tastiest new restaurants in Seattle to enjoy this month

Seattle and good food go together like PB & J, which is why we’re always excited about new restaurants. If you’ve been waiting to eat out or are curious about what restaurants are opening in the future, we’ve got you. From bars to restaurants, you’ll have no problem finding new spots to visit.

Here are 8 of the tastiest new and soon-to-open restaurants in Seattle.

Mt. Joy

This isn’t exactly a new restaurant but it is a new pop-up that is supposedly going to lead to a new restaurant chain. On September 16th, mysterious images of a chicken burger appeared on Instagram alerting local foodies to something new. That new thing is of course Ethan Stowell’s newest project, Mt. Joy. Curious foodies can get their hands err teeth on the chicken sandwich at Tavolata on Capitol Hill between October 14th and 16th.

When: October 14th-16th
Where: 501 E Pike St

Bigfoot Long’s

Bigfoot Long’s are now available for the foreseeable future at 4B’s Tavern in Ballard. You can snag dogs like the Basic Bigfoot, Seattle Sasquatch, and Bigfoots Walkin Stick. There are even some sweet treats like Grilled Cheesecake and the Luxury Luxardo Limo which has Hawaii sweet rolls, a peanut butter cup log, cherry jam, and toasted meringue.

Where: 4300 Leary Way NW
Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 6 PM-12 AM

Seabird

Seabird is taking over Bainbridge Island’s Hitchcock space. You’ll find a menu with an iced shellfish section with items like local oysters, spot prawns, geoduck, and green sea urchin. Additionally, you can enjoy small plates like albacore tartare, octopus salad, chinook salmon Crudo, and more.

Altitude Sky Lounge

Altitude Sky Lounge is perched 16 stories above Seattle, on top of the new Astra Hotel. They describe themselves as “an elite rooftop bar pairing stunning panoramic views with a sleek, modern atmosphere.” You’ll find a fine selection of wine, beer & cocktails.
