It’s been a while since we’ve talked about a local pop-up. Especially one that comes from a restaurateur as notable as Ethan Stowell. Stowell is back at it again with a brand new chicken sandwich joint called Mt. Joy focused on all things climate action. Let’s check it out and see when you can try it out for yourself.

On September 16th, mysterious images of a chicken burger appeared on Instagram alerting local foodies to something new. That new thing is of course Mt. Joy. Curious foodies can get their hands err teeth on the chicken sandwich at Tavolata on Capitol Hill between October 14th and 16th.

Here’s the deal, this is a true pop-up, details at this time are limited other than dates and location. The pictures on Instagram give you an idea of what you can expect in the sandwich. And the Instagram videos show you a small list of some of the local farms the pop up is working with like Hungry Hollow Farm, Riverbird Farm and more.

It’s worth noting that the social media account says a pre-order link will be available soon. Seeing as this pop-up is next weekend we highly recommend checking back on social media and pre ordering as soon as you can.
