Hello folks! Welcome to our list of things to do in Seattle for the first week of October. First the bad news- fall is now definitely in full swing. The good news? You can enjoy all of the fun stuff that comes with it, from harvest festivals to great concerts, and eventually, the spookiest day of the year!

Here are 8 things to do this week in Seattle.

This self-guided tour through Pike Place Market gives diners unprecedented access to more than 20 participating restaurants. Plus, it’s in support of Neighborcare Health’s Pike Market Medical Clinic.

The queen of disaffected teens from the midwest. Feel some feels at a concert named after America’s most popular illustrator.

Boy & Bear

This well-known Australian indie band is coming out with a new album on September 27, and has released a couple of songs to get people excited. Guess what? It worked.

The 42nd Annual Film Noir Series

Touted as the world’s longest-running film noir series, this is your opportunity to get creeped out at the Seattle Art Museum. This week’s film is Detour, a 1945 movie about hitch-hiking, kind of.

Where: Seattle Art Museum
Tickets: $78 for a full pass, on $9 per screening

Charli XCX

We’ll call Charli XCX a post-modern pop star, since she continually denies the usual trappings of the genre. A restless collaborator with a great sound, this is definitely someone you wanna see.

Taste America: Seattle

This gala dinner put on by the James Beard Foundation will see some of the city’s best chefs work together with the celebrated Kwame Onwuachi from Kith/Kin in Washington. It’s pricy, but hoo boy, if you can afford it, it’ll be worth your while.

Where: Fairmont Olympic Hotel
Tickets: $395, currently sold out but you can add yourself to the waitlist

Great Pumpkin Beer Fest

Now in its 15th year, the Great Pumpkin Beer Fest is your opportunity to drink beer out of a 700lb pumpkin. Sheesh. Plus, there will be over 80 different pumpkin beers to try out. Now that’s devotion to squash.

And that’s all the best things to do this week in Seattle! Catch us crying at Lana Del Rey then drinking some beer out of the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
