It’s the weekend, which means it’s about time to have some fun. If you don’t know what to do, no worries! We’re here as always with some of the coolest things to do in Seattle over the weekend. Hit the club, learn about coffee, see some buildings, or do it all!

1999 Throwback House/Techno/Dance with Karl Kamakahi & Residents

Get ready to be taken on a musical journey at this event. No music released after 1999 will be played, so you can expect to see some vinyl. Residents Julie Herrera, David Lowe, and DJ Trinitron will be spinning all night long.

11th Annual Belgian Fest

Head down to the Fisher Pavilion for an absolutely massive beer fest. There will be over 100 different styles courtesy of local Washington brewers, so we have a feeling you’ll find a new favorite!

Diamonds & Gold Tour: The Art Deco Skyscraper Northwest Style

This tour is a great way to learn the history of some of Seattle’s most iconic buildings. You’ll learn the history behind the gorgeous local post-war architecture of the 1920s, when architects created the Art Deco style. The tour will visit lush lobbies and ornate commercial buildings like the Exchange Building, the Seattle Tower, and the Washington Athletic Club.

Lunar New Year Celebration

Catch the start of 2020’s Lunar New Year at the Wing Luke Museum. This celebration and fair is a great way to either participate in the event or learn about it! Year of the Rat, folks. Going to be a good one.

Xavier Omär, Parisalexa

Xavier Omär has been described as “all satin sheets, boxes of chocolates, and mood lighting”. So expect some serious mood-setting, croony tunes at this show. Omär will be joined by Seattle’s Parisalexa. It’s a show that will be worth checking out.

Seattle Onesie Bar Crawl

We don’t even own a onesie, but we’re tempted to go pick up some long johns for this event. We want to look like a late 19th-century prospector on a dewy spring morning. It’s a very specific vision, but it’s now burned into our mind.

From Plant to Cup: A Coffee Lecture & Tasting

Now you can be the coffee expert! Learn from various coffee and plant experts about your favorite caffeinated beverage. This event will also be unique because it’s taking place in the Volunteer Park conservatory. Talk about cool!

2020 Grammys at Cc Attle’s

Want to watch the Grammys anywhere but home? Then head on over to Cc Attle’s to view the awards ceremony from one of their 25 TVs. You will get to see probably every possible angle. Amazing.
