Hello, Seattle, and welcome back to another list of things to do for the upcoming week! As per usual, there are plenty of concerts, food & drink events, and more to fill your schedule with.

Here are 8 of the very best things to do in Seattle this week.

Bryan Adams

If you think we’re going for any other reason than to obnoxiously sing “life is a hiiighwwaayyyy I waNnA RiiIIdE it alllllnighhhtlong” and air guitar our way through Summer of ’69, then you’re seriously mistaken. Head down to WAMU Theater to check out this classic Canadian artist smash out some absolute jams.

When: Wednesday, September 18 at 8 pm
Where: WAMU Theater
Cost: $56+

Oktoberfest Fremont

This has been called one of the top 10 places in the world to celebrate Oktoberfest, so you know you’re going to be in for a party. Taking over half of the entire Fremont neighborhood, this will feature the biggest beer garden in the Northwest! Oh, there’s also a 5K run on Sunday in case you want to work off some of the party.

When: September 20 – September, 22
Where: Fremont
Cost: $25+

Georgetown Beer Festival

Celebrating the abundance of top-notch craft brewers in Seattle’s south end, this inaugural festival is sure to be the beginning of a tasty tradition. Featuring 12 of the best brewers around, along with solid food options and plenty of performing arts presentations, make sure to mark this one off on your calendars.

When: Sept 20 – 22, 2019
Where: Georgetown Trailer Park Mall, 5805 Airport Way S

The Winery Comedy Tour

You can catch this nationwide comedy tour this Thursday just outside of Seattle. Sip some wine, have a few laughs, maybe eat some cheese… sounds like the perfect Thursday.

When: Thursday, September 19

Alice in Chains

This OG Seattle band will be touching down in the city this week. Their latest album, Rainier Fog, marks yet another milestone in a decades-long history of success.

When: Friday, September 20

Bellwether

Over 50 artists have put together installations to showcase this year’s theme, Taking Root. Experience art, music, speakers, and more at this 10-day-long extravaganza.

When: Until September 22
Where: Downtown Bellevue

After Hours at the Aquarium

This go-around, the theme is about animal instincts. Why? Well the salmon have come back to local waters, marking the end of a round trip journey spanning hundreds of kilometers. Sounds like us returning home after a late night trip to find a cheesy gordita crunch from Taco Bell.

When: Thursday, September 19
Where: Seattle Aquarium
Cost: $25

Hot Chip

An OG British synth-pop band that just released their latest album, Bath Full of Esctasy. Hopefully the show won’t be as overwhelming as that idea, but it’s a toss up.

When: Wednesday, September 18
Where: The Showbox
Cost: $30-$32.50

And there you have it Seattle, everything we think you should get up to in the city this week. Personally, we feel like making a bunch of weird jokes at the aquarium and hitting up Oktoberfest. How about you?
