Happy Friday, Seattle! We’d thought we’d provide you with a little update on something that has, understandably, fallen by the wayside these past few weeks. The folks behind the Seattle NHL team have announced that they’re delaying the team naming process further.

Makes sense to us. In fact, we’re a lot more excited about the other steps the team has taken to positively affect Seattle. First off, they’re deferring payments through the end of June for anyone that bought who bought premium tickets.

But, they’ve also done something even better. As a first step towards supporting the communities of Seattle, they’ve donated $100,000 to YouthCare, a Washington-based charity that provides housing and other services to homeless youth throughout the region.

Now that’s something we can celebrate. Hats off to you, Seattle NHL team, whatever your name ends up being.
