Seattle schools are looking at options for the 2020-2021 school year

Well, folks, it’s almost summer for a lot of Seattle area students. So while back to school is probably the last thing on your mind, Seattle Schools are already making changes. And as you probably guessed, next year’s school year will look very different.

Currently, Seattle schools are planning for an online fall term of classes. And they are trying to figure out how many in-person classes might be possible. And part of this consideration is a split school schedule where certain grades come to school one day, while other grades learn from home.

Obviously, this is a big decision. And as such, Seattle schools are having multiple groups work on these ideas for the next few weeks. So that means the decision should be made on or before June 19th. Which means Seattle schools may be empty this fall or they might operate in a completely new way.
