Sure Seattle and Washington as a whole have plenty of amazing burger spots. But it never hurts to add one more, especially when that burger is coming from another country and it’s plant-based. Canada’s popular Odd Burger is coming to Washington, opening its first-ever US locations, and here’s what we know so far.
The company has signed its first U.S. Area Representative Agreement for the “development of 20 locations in Washington State over the next 8 years.” It’s a big deal for the burger spot which happened to be Canada’s first vegan fast food chain.
What makes their US expansion unique is that the company is looking to franchise their locations meaning you could apply to be the owner of an Odd Burger.

Beyond Washington, the burger chain is also looking to expand to the following states as well: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
While the company is going big with its planned expansion there is not an official opening date or location for the first Washington Odd Burger.
When it comes to the menu, the chain has most of your favorites and even breakfast. You’ll find burgers, a “ChickUN” selection, salads, and wraps, desserts like shakes and cookies as well as sides like fries, onion rings, and mac & “cheeze.”
