Here are 5 highly-anticipated restaurants opening in Vancouver soon

It’s an open secret that we’ve got the best restaurant scene in Canada, and we’re ready to defend that claim to the death. But, it’s always fun to check out some new Vancouver restaurants that haven’t even opened yet. After all, this gives you something to look forward to over the next few weeks. Heck, maybe even the next few days!

Here are some new Vancouver restaurants that we can’t wait to open.

Nancy Go Yaya (NOW OPEN)

Nancy Go Yaya seems to be just hours away from announcing an official opening date. The newest venture from the folks behind Bao Bei and Kissa Tanto will be focused on Singaporean cuisine. Think grab-and-go options, classics like laksa, and of course, an amazing interior.

Where: 265 East Pender Street

Ça Marche Crêperie

Meanwhile, this new crepe spot is coming from the good people at Au Comptoir. Forget super sweet options, since Ca Marche will be focused on savoury, Breton-style crepes will a cider list to match. There have been rumblings about this spot for months, but we think things are finally nearing completion!

Where: 1408 Continental Street

ZARAK

This is a new concept coming from the folks behind the amazing Afghan Kitchen in Surrey. The details are scarce, but we know two things for sure. The food is going to be delicious, and the interior is already shaping up! Fingers crossed we’ll be able to visit before the new year.

Where: 2102 Main Street

Juanita

Another new concept from a local brand, Juanita has been teasing its arrival in Kitsilano for too long now, and we really think an opening announcement will come in the next few weeks. It comes from the folks behind Lift Bakery in North Vancouver, so expect great baked goods alongside an all-day menu.

Where: 1516 Yew Street

Menya Itto

Another outpost that has been sitting forever, Menya Itto is bringing a specialty to Vancouver that few other brands focus on- tsukemen. This dipping style of ramen serves hot or cold noodles alongside a much thicker broth for dipping and is a great switch-up from the usual fare. Just open so we can confirm our suspicions already!

Where: 1479 Robson Street

Bonus Pick- Collective Goods (NOW OPEN)

Why is Collective Goods our bonus pick? Well, after a few weeks of waiting for the news, they announced this week that they’re ready to open! And what’s more, things kick off today (Friday, September 10th). If you can’t wait to try a new restaurant in Vancouver, then this local grocer/French bistro concept should be at the top of your list.

Where: 3532 Commercial Street

Alright, folks, that’s our roundups of Vancouver restaurant openings that we can’t wait to happen! Our advice? Follow all of these spots to stay up to date- you won’t regret it.
