We don’t know about you guys but we’re very ready for this weekend. This past week has been a long one, and we’re beyond excited to get out and enjoy some fall activities and events. So, as always, we’re here to give you our picks! Here are 8 things to do in Vancouver this weekend.

Eat at a new oyster spot

Vancouver’s newest oyster spot, Shuck Shuck is having their grand opening this weekend. So if you’re in the mood for some seafood we highly recommend checking it out. You can also enter to win a $100 gift card on their Instagram right now!

Watch a locally filmed horror flick

That’s right folks, it just so happens that Vancouver has had a whole host of horror movies filmed here. And honestly it kind of makes sense, after all, BC can be a little spooky. So be sure to check out our list of recommendations.

Check out what’s new at the VAG

If you haven’t seen an art show in a while you might just want to head to the VAG. Because they have a brand new exhibition featuring works by French-Hungarian artist Victor Vasarely. And he’s known for the movement of Optical Art so expect some fun works.

Donate blood

Okay folks we know this might not be your ideal way to spend a weekend but it’s a very important thing to do. Because as well all know, blood is always in high demand. But now it’s needed more than ever due to the pandemic. So get out there and make an appointment to donate.

Visit the Beaty Biodiversity Museum

UBC just so happens to have a pretty amazing Biodiversity museum and since it’s their 10th anniversary, they’re offering pay what you can admission. So if you haven’t checked out this spot before, now’s your chance. And we promise you won’t regret it.

Life Ghouls Experience: Pop-up Art Show & Concert

This unique event is happening both in-person and online as a live stream. So if you want to check out some prints, shirts, merch, murals, flash tattoos, and more head to this event. And you can hear Vertesi’s new album, Life Ghouls if you stay for the concert.
