Honestly, we’re excited to wave goodbye to January. That snowstorm really messed with the vibe at the office, so we’re recovering by enjoying all the things to do in Vancouver this weekend. Now, all we have to do is pick our poison. Will it be a concert? A food festival? Some sports? Who knows!

Here are 8 things to do this weekend in Vancouver.

Harlem Globetrotters

Admit it, you know just as well as we do that seeing the Harlem Globetrotters is something that must be done. You know you’ll be absolutely dazzled if you do go, so you should treat yourself.

When: Friday, January 31, 7PM
Where: Abbotsford Centre, 33800 King Rd, Abbotsford
Cost: $39

Street Food City 9

This is part of Dine Out, but deserves a mention anyway. Following the first week getting cancelled, Street Food City got rescheduled to this weekend. The best part about it? It’s now free to attend! Score!

When: On throughout the weekend
Where: šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énk Square, West Georgia Street
Cost: Free to attend!

Beatles Band Live Nerdlesque

Catch local act The Geekenders as they do a burlesque tribute to The Beatles, complete with a Beatles cover band providing the music! As strange as it sounds, catching one of these shows should be on every Vancouverite’s must-do list.

When: Friday, January 31, 8PM
Where: Rio Theatre, 1660 E Broadway
Cost: $35 online

Stripped-down, authentic… whatever you want to call it, Begonia is bringing a pure sound to the pop world. Pair that with an intimate setting like the Fox Cabaret, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for a fantastic set. That’s probably why tickets are sold out, but keep an eye out for resale options!

When: Saturday, February 1, 7:30PM
Where: Fox Cabaret, 2321 Main Street
Cost: Sold out, check Stubhub for tickets

Top pick of the week, for sure. Head down to The Beaumont Studios for a full night of robot dancing. Plus, they hosted a workshop last week, so the costumes should be absolutely hilarious. This is the kind of party that Vancouver needs more of.

When: Saturday, February 1, 7PM
Where: The Beaumont Studios, 326 West 5th Avenue
Cost: $20

The Wellness Show

Trying to get healthier as we move into spring? Look no further than The Wellness Show, a two-day long event focusing on health and wellness (that adds up). Food might just be one part of it, but still, it’s cool that they’ve got a really solid lineup of presenters and chefs.

When: Saturday, February 1 and Sunday, February 2
Where: Vancouver Convention Centre West, 1055 Canada Place
Cost: $14.50

PuSh Festival

From humble beginnings, PuSh has become one of the best performing arts festivals on the West Coast. Last year saw artists from over 13 different countries and 41 different sold out shows, and this year should be just as good!

When: On throughout the weekend
Where: Venues around the city
Cost: Varies per event

Dine Out

Don’t forget, the biggest food event of the year ends this Sunday. Check out our picks for the best $25 and $35 deals to snag from the fest during its final weekend!

When: Ends Sunday, February 2
Where: Venues across Vancouver
Cost: $15-$45

Oh yeah, we’re getting some powerful and positive vibes from our list of things to do in Vancouver this weekend. How about you? Can you feel it in the air?
