First off, the cafe is more than just being able to hang with your furry friends. By partnering up with Cat Therapy & Rescue Society, the cafe hopes to shine a light on BC’s overcrowded cat shelters. In turn, they can continue to help stray and abandoned cats find a great home.

Of course, the name itself is a play on words, referencing Studio Ghibli’s ‘My Neighbour Totoro’. The owner believes that the name tells a story fo a ‘forest guardian’ who is on a mission to save stray cats.

It’s a very cute idea, we have to admit.
