If you’re missing the Squamish Valley Music Festival (RIP), you’re in luck, because the Squamish Constellation Festival wants to put the town back on the map. This three-day event at the end of the month is perfect for those looking for a fun weekend getaway.

Based on the current write up, the festival hopes to be one of the most inclusive in the country. Art installations will focus on representing female, indigenous and LGBTQ+ artists, and there will be an ‘interactive community legacy art creation’ available too.

For the music, expect a mixture of big names and local talent. Rising stars like Jessie Reyez and Peach Pit will be can’t miss concerts. Also, a couple of our personal favourites will be playing as well, including Shad and Bahamas.

Comfort is key too, and there will be blanket-style seating with separate dancing areas. As an added bonus, children under 12 are free when accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Try doing that at Osheaga.
