The highly-anticipated film festival, TIFF kicks off in Toronto this week and the city is about to welcome some of the biggest names in the celebrity world starting September 8.

Street party

TIFF is welcoming movie-goers, stars, and industry members back to the city this September, including its vibrant Festival Street.

Festival Street will occupy a large stretch of King Street outside of the TIFF Bell Lightbox theatre, from Peter Street to University Avenue.

The family-friendly street festival will be celebrating all things film and will feature “live performances, partner activations, and outdoor screenings,” according to a press release from TIFF.

The most exciting time of the year in film is finally here and if you want to keep your finger on the pulse, you must have these highly-anticipated TIFF 2022 films on your list.

“In Conversation with… Taylor Swift”

Taylor Swift is making her way to our city for the 47th annual Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) to introduce the first-ever screening of her short film, called All Too Well: The Short Film.

Swift will participate in a discussion with TIFF’s CEO Cameron Bailey about the short film, which she directed, wrote, produced, and appeared in.

Tickets for “In Conversation with… Taylor Swift” are on sale to the public on September 5 on TIFF’s website.
