Rolling Loud Toronto

Hip-hop fans, we’ve got major news. Rolling Loud is officially coming to Toronto this Friday. The world’s biggest hip-hop fest is coming to Toronto for the first time ever, featuring a stacked lineup of major headliners like Dave, Future, and WizKid.

Other big-name acts taking the stage include Lil Uzi Vert, Roddy Ricch, Migos, Nav, Lil Yachty, Pressa, Rae Sremmurd, and Roy Wood$.

Elton John: Farewell Yellow Brick Road The Final Tour

Elton John is finally making his way to Toronto for his farewell tour. Fans have been waiting months for King Elton to grace our stage, and this week, the highly-anticipated back-to-back shows will take place at the Rogers Centre.

Luxury Clothing Warehouse Sale

Ready to do some serious shopping? A luxury designer warehouse sale is coming to Toronto this week and over $5 million worth of clothes, accessories, coats, and shoes are up for grabs.

The four-day sale will be held at The International Centre in Mississauga and will have markdowns of 50% to 70% off. Items for men, women, and kids will be available at the event, as well as purses, jewelry, watches, and fragrances, all from top luxury brands.

TIFF: Festival Street

TIFF is welcoming movie-goers, stars, and industry members back to the city this September, including its vibrant Festival Street. Festival Street will occupy a large stretch of King Street outside of the TIFF Bell Lightbox theatre, from Peter Street to University Avenue.

The family-friendly street festival will be celebrating all things film and will feature “live performances, partner activations, and outdoor screenings,” according to a press release from TIFF.

Immersive King Tut: Magic Journey to the Light

Travel back in time and experience Egypt more than 3,000 years ago at this new immersive exhibit in Toronto. Immersive King Tut: Magic Journey to the Light welcomes all to explore the wonders of ancient Egyptian history and to hear the story of King Tut’s passage into the afterlife.

Mac and Cheese Festival

Can you think of anything more comforting than a giant plate of gooey mac and cheese? We dare you to try. This Friday, Toronto’s getting an entire mac and cheese festival and you’ll want to wear your eating pants for this one.

The festival will be held at Street Eats Market and if you were at last year’s event, you can expect many of the same creative and delicious takes on this mouthwatering dish.

Le Burger Week

Hope you’re hungry, Toronto! In support of locally-owned businesses, this delicious city-wide festival challenges Canadian establishments to go head to head in a battle of the buns all in hopes of winning best burger in town.

It’s honestly delicious and this year, even those who are vegan can also get involved because (while it’s not a requirement) the folks behind the event have tasked participants to make plant-based eats.

The World of Barbie

If “Barbie Girl” by Aqua was, or still is, your theme song, there’s an immersive experience just for you. A 30,00 square foot, life-sized display called The World of Barbie is now open in the GTA, and here’s a sneak peek inside!

Visitors can walk through Barbie’s neighbourhood streets, step into a Barbie dreamhouse, sit inside a Barbie camper van and explore interactive rooms inspired by some of Barbie’s careers as a scientist, music producer, astronaut, and more.

The FRIENDS Experience

The Friends experience that has popped up in cities around the U.S. has finally opened in Toronto! The event has every element that would make any Friends superfan go crazy, including set recreations and original props and costumes.
