Spooky, eh?

Speaking of cafes, immersive theatre lovers should definitely check out the premiere of The Café by ITSAZOO Productions and Aphotic Theatre at Emily Carr. When you enter Kafka’s on campus, you’ll be seated near one of seven “performance” tables and be able to watch the play happen all around you. Designed as a “choose your own adventure” experience, audience members can decide in which order to watch each scene, as they repeat themselves several times throughout the evening.

Although Wolf Alice has been on a four-year hiatus, the English rock band is back and better than ever, and with their third album, Blue Weekend. The acoustic duo includes singer Ellie Rowsell and guitarist Joff Oddie, as well as a featured bassist Theo Ellis and drummer Joel Amey as of 2012.

We threw pickleball on here because although we’re entering peak spooky season, we’ve still got a gorgeous, sunny week ahead of us. And we’re not mad at all – so why not get outside and learn a new beginner-friendly sport to keep things interesting?
