Last winter, Queen Anne resident Richard Knowles created a new Seattle holiday tradition by building a replica of the iconic Schitt’s Creek Rosebud Motel. It quickly became a hit both in Seattle and online. Luckily for all of us, it’s back once again.

Knowles has been busy this year. He also created a replica of the Bates Motel this past October and since its closing has been working on getting the beloved Schitt’s Creek back up for all to enjoy. For your information, the two motels are actually entirely different according to King 5 News. So it’s not just a simple change of signs and a few coats of paint, Knowles really goes in with the details.

According to the same King 5 News article, Knowles has added some new details to this year’s display. So if you’ll already be checking out Christmas light displays around Seattle, why not check out the Rosebud? Whether you’re a fan of the show or not it’s a great display of creativity.

All you have to do to check it out is head over to W Bothwell St & 10th Ave W on Queen Anne. Be sure to snap some pics and share them with the motel’s hashtag so you can get in on the social media fun. As of right now, there’s no mention of how long the motel will stay up but it’s probably safe to assume it will up through the holidays. With that, enjoy!
