After much anticipation, HBO’s ‘The Last Of Us’ finally premiered this week and just as so many had hoped it would – they’ve received glowing reviews from both critics and its audience.

From some incredible performances to its cinematography it’s clear that the network, cast and crew have really done something special – and as a province privy to behind-the-scenes footage – we’re confident the best is yet to come.

Filmed entirely in Alberta, The Last Of Us stars Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) as a hardened smuggler tasked with escorting a young girl (Bella Ramsey) across post-apocalyptic America 20 years after a fungal outbreak wipes out most of society.

While we’ve only seen the first episode, we’re already huge fans of the series – but as it turns out, the love is mutual.

Here are just a few times the showrunners and cast have shared their appreciation for the Wild Rose Province!
