The wait has nearly come to an end and so begins the fun! After a year of anticipation, HBO’s ‘The Last Of Us,’ will premiere Sunday, January 15th, 2023.

Based on a popular video game, The Last Of Us stars Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) as a hardened smuggler tasked with escorting a young girl across post-apocalyptic America and already has a whopping 97% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

HBO just released its official trailer for ‘The Last Of Us’ & it features a ton of Alberta locations

While its final edit will be crawling with zombie-like ‘clickers’, those in Wild Rose Country will find most scenes eerily familiar – after all, we’ve been privy to some impressive sets over the last few months.

Shot entirely in Alberta, this heart-wrenching story will take viewers on a ride – but along the way here are just a few filming locations you should keep your eyes out for.

Excited to see it all in action? Canadians can watch the series on Crave or on HBO via their local TV Provider at 9:00 pm ET.

According to IMDB, each episode will run about 50 minutes – with the exception of the premiere which will be an hour and 25 minutes long – so pop some corn and prepare for a movie-length event.

Happy watching and keep those eagle eyes peeled!
