Seattle has been hot with the studies recently. Not only do we have the best work life balance in the nation, but it turns out our city is also one of the best to raise a family in. With the access to nature, opportunities to start a career and great food, it kind of makes sense.

The new ranking comes from WalletHub, they compared over 180 US cities based on 46 key metrics that consider essential family dynamics. Some of those things include the cost of housing, quality of local schools, healthcare system and more.

All of those factors landed Seattle in the top ten, coming in hot at number seven.
