This Seattle restaurant has an igloo dining experience overlooking Elliott Bay

Have you ever wanted to have dinner in an igloo? You can actually do just that at Seattle’s Pike Place Market. This season, Maximilien is raising the bar on dining experiences with LE IGLOO. You are invited to experience a culinary journey that changes with the seasons.

Maximilien has a featured and themed set menu for one week every month. If you miss it, you can still enjoy the restaurant’s “A La Carte at LE IGLOO” experience. Some menu items include Confit De Canard, Steak Frites, and Flétan a la Française. The food menu is full of delicious French cuisine and there’s also a wide selection of wines available.

It’s important to know that the igloos are not heated but act more like a greenhouse. That means you’ll need to dress adequately with plenty of layers as the temperature will vary depending on the sun and the number of diners. Reservations for igloos are only available online via Resy and can fit a maximum of five people over the age of 12, including yourself.

Additionally, the restaurant wants diners to know that the “A la carte reservations” at “LE IGLOO” require a pre-paid minimum spend of $200 per booking. The credit is valid towards food and beverages on your reservation date and time and is not transferable or refundable.

So grab your friends and book an igloo of your own for a tasty, beautiful, and seasonally appropriate-dining experience.

The experience runs from Monday, January 15, 2024, until Thursday, February 29, 2024.
