Fun things to do in Vancouver on your next date this fall

We challenge you to bring more to the table on your next date than “let’s grab a drink.” Don’t get us wrong, there are plenty of cozy bars and coffee shops in Vancouver to love, but sometimes it’s worth stepping outside of your routine. Consider checking out an opera, crafting a pair of silver rings, or embarking on a giant art crawl. You never know what kind of connections or conversations a change of plans may inspire!

Here are some fun things to do in Vancouver on your next date this fall.

Tosca at the Vancouver Opera

The Vancouver Opera kicks off its 2026/2027 season with Puccini’s Tosca, the fifth most-performed opera in the world. Taking place over 24 hours, the story is a gripping tale of passion, politics, and betrayal, set in 17th-century Rome. It’s considered to have one of Puccini’s most emotionally charged scores, so if you’re looking for a tearjerker, this is a great date night experience.

Time: 2:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Where: 630 Hamilton St.
