A popular Starbucks cup is getting a holiday makeover with a twist at stores across Canada

If it’s one thing that Starbucks is known for, it’s the wave of holiday cups that make their way back every year. This holiday season, the popular Bearista cup returns to shelves across the country, with a new festive twist.

Starting this November, fans can get excited about the new Glass Bearista Cold Cup – Surprise Box Edition, which features a lineup of mystery Bearista characters inspired by the magic of the holidays.

If you love the mystery box trend, this is for you. Each box comes with one mystery character, all of which are available in limited quantities while supplies last.

If you missed out on the OG Bearista Glass last year, don’t fret, because the original character is also making its return to select Starbucks Coffeehouses on Dec. 1, 2026.

When do the new Bearista cups drop in Canada?

The new Glass Bearista Cold Cup – Surprise Box officially launches on Nov. 10, 2026, giving collectors and enthusiasts a couple of weeks to prepare for the Bearista craze.

The rest of Starbucks’ holiday offerings, including iconic holiday sips, bites, and merchandise, launch a week earlier on Nov. 5, 2026. So you don’t have long to wait before indulging in all things peppermint and praline.

If you’d rather wait for the return of Starbucks’ red cups, Red Cup Day falls on Nov. 17, 2026. On this day, participating stores are giving out a collectible, reusable holiday cup with the purchase of any holiday beverage, while supplies last.
