Toronto’s getting an entire festival dedicated to gooey mac and cheese

Can you think of anything more comforting than a giant plate of gooey mac and cheese? We dare you to try. This September, Toronto’s getting an entire mac and cheese festival and you’ll want to wear your eating pants for this one.

The festival will be held at Street Eats Market and if you were at last year’s event, you can expect many of the same creative and delicious takes on this mouthwatering dish.

Some of the most memorable dishes from last year’s festival were the Beef’d Up Mac Banh Mi Taco,  Lobster Mac & Cheese Beignet Roll, Mac and Cheese Bacon Bubble Waffle, and Chorizo Mac and Cheese.

In addition to cheesy eats, you’ll likely be able to find many delicious beverage choices to wash it down, as well as some fun things to see and do in between bites.

Also coming up at Street Eats Market are Burger Fest, Soup Fest, and Poutine Fest, all of which are coming up in September and October.

And in true Toronto fashion, there are countless other food festivals worth sinking your teeth into in and around the city, including Canada’s largest Ribfest in Burlington on Labour Day weekend.

Mark these dates in your calendar and be sure to bring your appetite!
