Located in Puerto Escondido (a seaside town in the province of Oaxaca), CASA WO is a standalone vacation home designed by Ludwig Godefroy, whose work has been featured in publications like Dezeen. Known for angular spaces and the use of concrete, Godefroy employs a sort of new brutalism using traditional Mexican aesthetics.

CASA WO is a great example of this spirit. At once open and sheltered, the luxury beach house offers a series of interconnected spaces, dominated by the open-air pool that doubles as an entryway to the majority of the house’s more functional rooms.

Which, by the way, are pretty robust. Not just for looks, the home offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, and both a living and dining room. So, while you’ve got ample options for dining out in the town, we have to recommend at least one night in, to enjoy all that the home has to offer.
