Seattle has plenty of great breakfast spots but few match up to Ludi’s – a downtown diner known for its Filipino breakfast items. The diner, which opened in the 1930s and closed in 2019, has officially returned just a few blocks from its original location.
Ludi’s closed in 2019 due to a fire, and then there was the pandemic. During 2021, the restaurant did a few pop-ups under the name “HYUP,” but decided it was time to make a full comeback.
The new location is located on 2nd Ave & Stewart and will be has officially opened after a soft opening last weekend.
